Star Wars-Themed Football Kits

We've felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in joy. It's probably because of this line of Star Wars-themed football kits.

In June 2014, Spain-based designer Nerea Palacios caught our attention with her fantastic mock up of strips inspired by HBO's Game of Thrones TV series. In a bid to build her portfolio and tempt Nike into employing her skills, Palacios has added another series, turning her attention to Star Wars to inspire a new series of 10 equally brilliant kits.

From a panel-covered ensemble based on R2-D2, to a sash-wearing Chewbacca design, each of Palacios' designs looks to incorporate an outfit worn by a character from the original (and superior) trilogy. Which means there's no Jar Jar Binks.

Unfortunately nothing more than a design concept, you can see more of Palacios' work on her Behance profile
