Listen to the Game of Thrones Hip Hop mixtape

Here be dragons. And beats. Catch the Throne is upon us.

The Game of Thrones official hip hop mixtape is an... odd affair. This isn't a cheap parody, nor thinly veiled cynicism - the likes of Big Boi and Dee Goodz have recorded some serious efforts to encapsulate the power struggles and violence of the HBO series.

Yet it's so very, very odd to hear Wale putting his lyrics over show's opening theme tune, let alone a rap that spouts hate toward Joffrey. We're going to spend the rest of our day trying to pick the references out of this one.
