Exclusive: Sam Neill confirms he's in Thor 3

He's been chased by dinosaurs (Jurassic Park), seen hell in space (Event Horizon) and got badly lost in the depths of the sea (The Hunt For Red October).

And now Sam Neill will rub shoulders with Marvel superheroes.

That's because the beloved New Zealand actor has confirmed to ShortList that he is appearing in Thor Ragnarok, having got the nod thanks to working with director Taika Waititi on ace new film Hunt For The Wilderpeople, which is out now.

Neill also dished the dirt on what he thinks Dr Alan Grant is up to following his scrapes with dinosaurs in both Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park 3. Please be warned: you might have your childhood ruined.
