Bloodborne is difficult.
Difficult in a way that makes saving up for a deposit on your first house look as simple as putting your shoes on. Velcro shoes. With a built-in shoe horn.
Yet such trickiness hasn't stopped a gaming masochist by the name of bearzly from tackling From Softwares brutal hack'n'slasher survivor game armed with the entirely inappropriate Rock Band guitar controller.
Anyone who's thudded their way through a riff with a guitar controller will know how cumbersome and specific it's design is. Having mapped the major controls (action, switch weapon, attack - see the image above) onto the guitar, bearzly set about battling through the grim streets of Bloodborne with incomparable skill.
You can watch a stream of bearzly's admirable efforts here, or see a shorter boss battle below.
He is, quite literally, a guitar hero.

As Content Director of Shortlist, Marc likes nothing more than to compile endless lists of an evening by candlelight. He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
