But this week that was all put into perspective. That's because Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington put together a special ShortList version of their world-leading, multi-million-selling podcast. Everything else fades in comparison. Now we've arrived. This is better than a guest appearance on the Simpsons, better than Elton John changing the words of one of his songs for you, better than Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes being your best mates.

i was first introduced to these podcasts when people at school started calling me karl as my name is pilkington so i did a google search and started listening and realised why haha, brilliant podcast, i love them all, genius!

These audio books, are some of the cleverest comedy I have ever heard, and by far funnier than anything else out there at the moment. Keep doing it Karl!!

ace, and im doctor karl so medically i can officially say your head is medically round. i used medical calipers. great work, the humous shop is still open by the way. whats the point. ''get rid of it''
