We’ve told you about Netflix’s upcoming creepy show Dark before, but back in those (uh oh, pun incoming) dark days, we did not have a proper full-length trailer to show you. Back then, we simply had a ‘teaser’, and what the hell are we supposed to do with one of them? What you want, and need, is a large-up, two-minute-thirteen-second preview - a real trailer for a real boy. And we’ve got it for you.
Wake up:
I don’t know about you, but that’s got me a bit excited. Looks spooky, scary, science-fictiony and, erm, mystery-ey. Good stuff.
The show, according to Neflix, is: “A family saga with a supernatural twist, set in a German town in present day where the disappearance of two young children exposes the double lives and fractured relationships among four families.
“In ten, hour-long episodes, the story takes on a supernatural twist that ties back to the same town in 1986.”
So: small town, missing children, death, the supernatural, a retro time-setting - sounds a lot like everyone’s favourite ‘80s-set spook-a-thon, Stranger Things. Thankfully, you’ve not got to wait long before you can get your fix of quality episodic television, as it hits Netflix on 1 December.
People are already getting excited at the possibility Dark could be the streaming platform’s next big hit.

Better read a book in the interim though, it’s got those funny ‘subtitle’ things at the bottom of the screen - can’t go into it rusty. Reading and watching at the same time? Who’d have thought it?
