The best Amazon Prime Day deals aren't meant to officially begin until Monday 15 July but Amazon has got to its own party and is currently offering a massive £40 off the Kindle Paperwhite, its new Kindle ereader.

Normally the Kindle Paperwhite costs £119 but you can now get it for £79.99, which is a saving of 33%.

The Kindle Paperwhite is one of the best Kindles around, offering 8GB storage - which is great for downloading ebooks, comics and magazines. The battery on it will last for weeks, so this is a brilliant buy for your summer holidays, if you are still not Kindle ready.
