Tottenham Hotspur has launched a new beer in collaboration with Beavertown called ‘One Of Our Own’ which will be exclusively made and sold at the stadium.

In what is a world-first for any football stadium, the beer will be brewed on site using Beavertown’s microbrewery, the official beer supplier for the club. It will be available for the first Spurs home game of 2020, a Premier League clash against Liverpool on 11 January.

It has been produced with the taste buds of Tottenham fans in mind so a classic British IPA style has been fused with Beavertown’s modern style. This ends up with a 4.9% hoppy beer made with Callista, Mandarina Bavaria and Barbe Rouge European hops. A predominantly stonefruit profile is backed up by subtle malt sweetness.

The name of the beer, which matches the chant sung about striker Harry Kane, was chosen by Tom Rainsford, a Spurs fan who recently joined Beavertown as Marketing Director.

“Beavertown's Neck Oil is already a half-time favourite, and we wanted to add to this by offering something new at the start of 2020. Supporting a club is in your bones and this beer feels the same. It’s familiar, yet distinct. A satisfying pint that makes you feel at home,” said Rainsford.

You’ll find One Of Our Own at the Beavertown Taproom in the South Stand, as well as bars located throughout the stadium.

The brewery, just a stone's throw from the stadium, started production on a 650L kit. It's just seven years old but is now capable of producing 5500L batches and 9 million pints a year. Its new brewery site, opening in March will be able to pump out a whopping 90 million pints.
