A thing that is funny, is puppets doing rude stuff. This, we can all agree on. That’s why The Happytime Murders, a film about puppets (that look suspiciously like Muppets but are not, they are not because people will get sued) doing rude stuff looks funny. Again, this we can all agree on.
We’ve brought you the trailer before, but now we’ve got some new footage in the form of three (yes, a whole three) new TV spots. We’ve got dead Muppets - sorry, puppets - we’ve got knob gags, we’ve got strip clubs, we’ve got guns and we’ve got loads of punching, and if you movie doesn’t have loads of punching in it, is it really a movie?
No, no it is not a movie.
Anyway, here they are:
Yeah? All good? Like the silly puppets doing rude things? Good. Well then, why don’t you watch a whole movie about it then? Go on, do it when it hits cinemas on August 27.
DO IT.
