This Awesome Invention Will Change The Way You Drink Beer

Beer in cans: practical, useful, good. But it's not as good a drink from a pint glass, and that's a fact.

But this invention could change everything - as it deftly and safely converts your beer can into a container with a far wider opening, enabling the beverage to breathe and the aroma to fully spread to your nose. Also, it means you can drink more, and faster, and that can only be a good thing.

The device - which is small enough to fit into the back pocket of your jeans and is made of mahogany wood and steel - works by displacing four splitters on its lower section outwards to the inside rim of the can. They then separate the top from the rim by folding the aluminium into itself. It maintains the pressed outer rim of the can, crucially meaning no sharp edges at the point of the cut.

It's already fully-funded on Kickstarter with over $100,000 of backing - prices for the tool start at $45 (£29).
