In the paraphrased words of the excellent Oddworld series: "Hi!" "Hi!" "Watch this trailer." "Okay!"
A staggering 17 years since Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee first charmed its way into gamers' hearts, the 2D side-scrolling platformer returns with a gorgeous remake.
The hapless Mudokon has been given a thorough reworking, a new graphics engine giving Abe and his environments a level of depth and polish the original PlayStation generation could only dream of. New 'n' Tasty remains faithful to Oddysee's original story, tasking players with rescuing Abe's Mudokon brethren from the sinister RuptureFarms.
As if an added incentive for picking up New 'n' Tasty were required, we'll get an Abe's Exodus remake if 500,000 copies are sold.
Arriving on PlayStation 3, 4 and Vita this spring, with a PC, Mac and Wii U version to follow, we'll be deeply disappointed if 499,999 of you don't pick up a copy.
