It's been a while since anyone produced a film about grizzly 'Landaners' being mischievous. Guy Ritchie must be busy.
Set to itch our Cockney gangster scratch is Dom Hemingway, a new dark comedy written and directed by Richard Shepard.
The film sees eponymous safe-cracker Dom (Jude Law) return to the streets of London having spent 12 years in prison for keeping his mouth shut over a series of crimes. Dom embarks on a trip to the south of France with best friend Dickie (Richard E. Grant) in tow to collect what he's owed by crime boss Mr Fontaine (Demián Bichir) - but a return to old vices sees the life-long screw up decide he's owed more than money.
Queue drunken slurs, slick dialogue and tragic father-daughter reunions.
Dom Hemingway arrives in UK cinemas on 15 November
