Lou Reed has recently sadly passed away, it's nearly Christmas, so naturally our thoughts turn to Home Alone and Home Alone: Lost in New York, so what better time to alert you to the fact that Macaulay Culkin has formed a pizza-themed Velvet Underground tribute band.
Formed of five members and featuring Culkin on percussion, kazoo and vocals, the act are called Pizza Underground, and have just released their debut demo tape, recorded live at Culkin's house, and featuring such future classics as All The Pizza Parties, Pizza Gal and Take a Bite of the Wild Slice.
Taking a quick listen: we're not sure that Macaulay picked up too many tips from Michael Jackson when they used to hang out; this is more anti-folk and, well, weird.
Take a listen here and you can buy it on bandcamp, should the mood take you.
