In the pantheon of American kids’ TV stars, Kenan and Kel have got to be up near the top. Their classic, hilarious show ran for four seasons from 1996 to 2000 and was even spun off for a TV movie, called Two Heads Are Better Than None.
The Nickelodeon programme gave us some immortal lines that became a part of all our childhoods including, of course, “Who loves orange soda? Kel loves orange soda” and “Awwww, here it goes!”

And there was even a mini-reunion in 2015 when cast members Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell got back together for a one-off sketch on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon:
Since the show went off the air, Mitchell, 39, has largely stayed out of the public eye while Thompson, 40, has been a cast member on Saturday Night Live since 2003.
But now the pair are teaming up again to appear on a reboot of the game show Double Dare.
“I am so excited to be playing on Double Dare and for whole new generation of kids to experience this iconic game show,” Mitchell told EW. “This episode will be double special because Kenan and I will be playing against each other and we are both huge fans of Double Dare!”
