 
 
We don't mean to panic you but if we believe everything the movies tell us about the future, then we're pretty sure the robot uprising is imminent (just 22 years according to I, Robot).
That said, if you've ever had nightmares about soulless metal beings taking over the world, then these illustrations of machines ripped apart could be just the thing to put your mind at ease.
The decommissioned robots series is by artist Josh Lane (who also did these superb skeleton spaceships) and includes Data and C3-PO.
Although they're not necessarily at the terrifying end of the robot spectrum, Josh has also illustrated the Terminator and a Cyberman. While we realise they're entirely fiction, we'll still be printing out and laminating them just in case we ever need to destroy either.
