

The quintessential 'weird crush' trio appeared on this weekend’s Graham Norton Show and delivered their best attempts at wooing during a throwback Eighties lonely hearts-inspired segment.
Breaking Bad’s Cranston kicked off proceedings with a reference to his second most famous show and ménage a trois. Redmayne followed with a limper allusion to his penis and the upcoming children’s film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Cumberbatch closed proceedings by smouldering into the camera with his beady otter eyes and describing a sexy medical roleplay.
Amusing yes, but to put it mildly, not very useful as romance fodder to anyone else. Try any of these lines while out courting and you risk baffling your prospective love interest with your bizarre pop-culture non-sequiturs. Frankly, we do not advise imitating these out-of-touch famous men’s example. As an inspirational meme I once read said: the best way to impress someone else is by being yourself. Namaste.
