You might celebrate your birthday with flowers, drinks, bunting, and an obligatory Colin the Caterpillar cake. London however tends to do things a little differently. For its own celebratory shindig marking 20 years of glorious gigs, London’s O2 is putting on quite the show, and we’re all invited.

Jorja Smith has been announced as the latest artist performing at the venue as part of the celebrations. The singer songwriter and two-time Brit Award winner will be taking to the stage on July 17th in 2027 sharing some of her most beloved and brilliant tunes.

The London venue originally opened up as the Millennium Dome back in December 1999 before opening as the O2 Arena in 2007. To mark 20 years since it rebranded and reopened its (security checked) doors, there will be a series of gigs held at the space, with plenty of performers gracing the legendary stage.

Other acts already announced include Maisie Peters, Don Omar, and Shreya Ghoshal who are performing across May, June, and July. Maisie will be kicking things off on 8th May having released her third studio album Fluorescence earlier this year, and will be performing at Reading and Leeds this weekend.

Talking about the upcoming gig, Jorja said: “Performing at The O2 as part of its 20th birthday celebrations is a huge honour,” she shared. “It’s a venue that has hosted so many incredible artists and unforgettable moments over the years, so to be part of this milestone feels really special. I’m excited to celebrate with you all.” It will be Jorja's only UK arena performance of 2027, so a good one to have your eye on.

General tickets go on sale on Friday August 28 at 10am. There are also Priority Tickets available exclusively to O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers via the Priority app from 10am on Wednesday (August 26).
