London is no stranger to the Michelin scene with restaurants a-plenty boasting numerous stars and impressive prices. In the same way we have Love Island and Love Island Aftersun or Premier League and Match of the Day, the Michelin team have Michelin stars and the Michelin Guide. The latter is basically a bigger list of restaurants which are on their radar as exciting new spots which are serving up some seriously good grub.
Every month, Michelin updates its coveted guide, adding the best of the best and giving people a nod on which spots to watch. Now, the March additions have been announced. A grand total of 18 eateries from across the UK were added to the guide last month, with an impressive 10 of those being London jaunts. The added spots range from Roman comfort food to a South London Caribbean inspired spot.
One of the spots on the list is 2210 by Natty Can Cook down in Herne Hill which only opened a couple of months back in October 2025. It’s a Pan Caribbean joint, celebrating Caribbean culture in style which has already scooped up awards from Conde Nast Traveller, OpenTable, and TimeOut, serving up dishes like ackee and saltfish spring rolls, and confit pork belly.
Another addition was Lupa in Islington, a small Rome-inspired trattoria which you might recognise as being co-founded by actor Theo James. Despite its already starry status, Lupa clearly has as much substance as style and stardom. On the menu you can find Italian classics like their Pici Cacio e Pepe, Paccheri alla Carbonara, and a Porchetta dish.
