It's quite hard to visualise $11 billion (£7 billion). If you really want to give it a go though, it's about a third of the money that was in Scrooge McDuck's vault. You know, the one he rather tastelessly swam in, while making his nearest and dearest watch.

Anyway, there's a point to this. Some $11 billion will be taken in advertising revenue in social media in the year 2017 - that's according to this incredible infographic that looks at the rise and rise of ad sales on social sites.
