In the immortal words of Han Solo, "Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid".
Star Wars fans have the chance to splash out on Luke Skywaker's DL-44 Blaster - the angular pistol used in The Empire Strikes Back.
Sure, it's not as cool as owning Luke's lightsaber - but it's a great deal cheaper. Luke's saber sold for $240,000 (£170,000) back in 2008, while his pistol has a minimum bid of $200,000 (£141,000).
"The iconic gun is the same model used by Han Solo," explains the lot description, "a design based on the German issue Mauser C96 pistol and custom made by casting the original prop used in the first Star Wars.
However, there is a touch of the dark side to the gun's past. Owned by Hamill for several years after the film's completion, the actor gave it to a young fan during an episode of Jim'll Fix It.
The gun is "in original 1980 filming condition and has some wear, including one glued section". With eight days left to submit a bid, you've got plenty of time to get your savings together, sell your house and apply for a loan to cover the investment."
