The Spider-Man lizard


With The Amazing Spider-Man finally released this week, everyone's gone a bit Spidey mad. Even, surprisingly, the lizard community.

Photographer Cassio Lopes discovered the Mwanza Flat Headed Agama lizard while on a trip to the Masai Mara National Park in Kenya. The reptile, which is native to Africa, bears an uncanny resemblance to the webbed superhero.

Given the "complicated" relationship between Spider-Man and The Lizard in the movie, it might be a desperate attempt to prove that not all lizards are against the superhero. Or maybe we might have over-thought it just a little...
