Who? The Dunwells
What’s the story? If fate could give you a name perfect for success in life, then Dunwell is not a bad one to have. And it hasn't done brothers Joseph and David any harm, along with their bandmates Adam Taylor and Rob Clayton, who make up indie-pop quartet The Dunwells. They're preparing to release their second album Light It Up (due in February), which has been produced by Steve Harris (Kodaline) and Manny Marroquin (Sia, Haim) and is sure to take their brand of quality, uplifting songwriting out to more people. We're delighted to be premiering the excellent Strange Feeling, which you'll be able to download for free when you preorder the album from tomorrow - head here to do so. Gentle acoustic guitars give way to an anthemic, sweeping chorus straight from early Coldplay; we're suckers for this stuff, so give in and let it lift you up.
For fans of: Kodaline, Lake Komo
In three words: Strident anthemic stuff
