Who? Lucy Rose
What’s the story? Things we were not expecting to watch on a Tuesday morning, part 94: Danny Dyer starring in a rather beautiful, thought-provoking video about transgender issues and freedom of expression. But here we are, with Lucy Rose's Nebraska - originally released last year, and taken from her forthcoming second album Work It Out - given a new video, directed by Christopher McGill and featuring cameos from Ghostpoet, Rae Morris and Josef Salvat. The full story of the collaboration can be found at the Independent, but suffice to say that the song is excellent, and the video works superbly in conjuction, with Dyer stating: "When I got the treatment through I was overwhelmed... I'm beyond proud to be part of it, I've always believed that people should be who they wanna be, regardless of race or gender."
For fans of: Rae Morris, Frances
In three words: Thought-provoking video
