"We've made a holy bike."
"What? Are the tyres particularly pious?"
"No, no - a holey bike"
We imagine this is the sort of conversation the designers of Belgium-based ElevenTwentySeven had to go through countless times when introducing their tailor-made, laser cut bike service.

Their first model, the Erembald, allows customers to tailor various aspects of the bike's build to their needs: "The saddle and steer are fixed according to the rider's specific dimensions, thus eliminating the need for a stem and saddle pen," explains the design page. "Moreover, it comes with a laser engraving of the rider's name, in between the bike's integrated bike lock", handy on those occasions when you can't pick out your hole-covered cycle.
Weighing just 12kg, the laser cut stainless steel bike has been limited to a run of 50. Once they've all gone, ElevenTwentySeven promises to set about making a new design. With prices starting at £1,130, you'll have to move quickly to snag yourself one of these gorgeous models. You can find out more about the unique design process in the video below.
