Evertonians look away now.
Like a jilted bride at a (Jim) white wedding, Everton boss Ronald Koeman was stood up last night, forced to watch Moussa Sissoko ride off into the distance towards the warm embrace of Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Apparently going as far as to turn off his phone as Everton readied the medical room for him - bless - Sissoko altered his sat-nav and headed south for Spurs, completing his last minute signing for a fee believed to be in the region of £30m.
With one half of Merseyside feeling pretty blue to say the least, Twitter reacted swiftly and brutally.
