Although she's traditionally associated with more serious fare, Oscar favourite Meryl Streep has been working hard to remind us that she's got a damn fine sense of humour too.
After an unlikely cameo in Stuck On You, the last decade has also seen her take on roles in lighter fare such as The Devil Wears Prada and It's Complicated but Hope Springs co-star Steve Carell has revealed that she's got another comedy in her sights.
Although production is already underway on Anchorman 2: the Legend Continues, Carell has revealed that the Oscar-winning star of The Iron Lady would love to get a piece of the action.
"Meryl Streep told me she was a huge Anchorman fan and she’d love to have a cameo in the sequel," he recently told us. "That could be really funny. There are going to be plenty of great cameos in this movie."
It follows news that Harrison Ford has recently joined the cast as a veteran newsreader and Kristen Wiig will star as a love interest for Carell.
The film will also bring back Will Ferrell (obvs), Paul Rudd and Christina Applegate.
