Is this reunion picture the biggest hint yet that we're getting a revival of 'The Office'?
03 December 2018

It’s been five years since the mockumentary cameras were finally switched off in Scranton, PA but - to be totally honest - we’ve not stopped being obsessed with the US version of The Office.

Fans have been able to re-watch the NBC show on Amazon Prime and there has been a constant hunger for a revival of the Steve Carell-fronted programme.

We got a curious hint at a possible reunion when Carell hosted SNL a couple of weeks ago and the cast popped up in the audience during his opening monologue:

Meanwhile John Krasinski, who played Jim Halpert on the show from 2005 to 2013, has revealed that he’s up for getting the cast back together for some sort of reunion – because he wants to find out what his character’s been up to.

“Where is Jim? What is he doing?,” the A Quiet Place actor told Variety earlier this year. “I actually don’t know, and I’m really looking forward to it. People have asked if I would do sort of a reunion-type thing, and yes, for exactly that reason. I need the incredible writers of our show to tell me what he’s doing because I’m kinda worried about him.”

“[Jim] had a lot of hopes and dreams and all these different things,” he added. “He had a lot of zany ideas. And then he went to Austin to live his life. I feel like the dreams are still in his head, so let’s see what he’s doing.”

And now a bunch of the cast has posed for a tantalising reunion pic, which we’re unofficially taking as absolute confirmation that a reunion is in the works.

“I had brunch with these oddballs today. Love you #officemates #theoffice,” Jenna Fischer (Pam) said on Twitter.

Pictured in the photo are Greg Daniels, who adapted Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant’s original BBC series, Angela Kinsey (Angela), Rainn Wilson (Dwight), Jenna Fischer (Pam), Ed Helms (Andy), Creed Bratton (Creed), Paul Lieberstein (Toby), Brian Baumgartner (Kevin), Leslie David Baker (Stanley), Phyllis Smith (Phyllis) and Oscar Nunez (Oscar).

Unfortunately, some big names weren’t at the pow wow, including Steve Carell (Michael), John Krasinski (Jim), Mindy Kaling (Kelly), B.J. Novak (Ryan), Kate Flannery (Meredith), Ellie Kemper (Erin) and Craig Robinson (Darryl).
