Now, it's unlikely that the current American flag will ever be altered, except in the case of a large-scale alien invasion but, in an alternate universe, just think of the many possibilities that could arise.

MGMT, a design studio from Brooklyn, were given the task of giving the iconic image a makeover and they came up with 50 new flags that all showcase different pieces of, sometimes rather bleak, information about the US.
