The BBC has released the first retro promotional images for the Sherlock Christmas special.
In the images, Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman wear Victorian costumes as a nod to their characters' origins, with Freeman sporting Watson's trademark bushy moustache.
The pair are expected to once again go up against Andrew Scott's nefarious Moriarty, who made a surprise reappearance at the end of last season.
The episode will air as part of the BBC's Christmas line up, and will be followed by a fourth series in 2016. Here's hoping the 'tash spans both.
