Ah, the things we'd do without full-time employment. Ignoring the financial fears, we'd have much more time for a) that damn novel, b) perfecting the Moonwalk and c) LEGO.
So, while we still toil away at our desks, building towers in our heads, we look on enviably at those with the time for LEGO brilliance.
Five enthusiasts (including Ed Diment and Stuart Crawshaw, pictured) pooled their skills and spent three months building this stadium, which is a mirror image of the Olympic giant in Stratford, East London, from a whopping 100,000 bricks. In preparation for this summer's mammoth selection of sport, the fixture can hold 10,000 mini figures and weighs over100kg.
If you fancy taking a look at the impressive creation for yourself then it will be unveiled at The LEGO Show on Saturday 5th May, Event City at The Trafford Centre in Manchester.
