Jerry Seinfeld's new Netflix comedy has a ridiculous guest line up
08 January 2018

Jerry Seinfeld already has one of the most loved comedy shows of all time, so really, he doesn’t need to do anything else. That’s the rule isn’t it? You do something amazing, then retire - everyone loves you forever. But hey, sometimes ‘creative’ people decide that they want to carry on making things, and if they (and us) are lucky, the product is still good.

Like Seinfeld’s fun little chat-show - Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, a web series of 15-minute long episodes in which Big J picks up one of his mates in a fancy classic car, then goes and gets coffee with them. Yes, sounds wanky, but it’s Jerry Seinfeld we’re talking about here, so it’s not, somehow.

It began in 2012 and was originally distributed on Crackle, but for the tenth season, it’s been chucked over to Netflix. All the other episodes are available to watch as of this weekend, too, with a storming line up of stars including:

  • Steve Martin
  • Ricky Gervais
  • Kevin Hart
  • Kristen Wiig
  • Tina Fey
  • Jay Leno
  • Jim Carrey
  • Will Ferrell
  • Alec Baldwin
  • Trevor Noah
  • John Oliver
  • Chris Rock
  • Even, yes, the famous comedian Barack Obama

So get yourself onto everyone’s favourite ‘streaming platform’ and commence viewing - you’ve got a bit of time before the newest season hits Netflix later this year (look forward to seeing people such as Dave Chappelle, Kate McKinnon and Tracy Morgan sitting in a moving vehicle before consuming a hot beverage in that one). Enjoy!
