You’ll know of this connection thanks to his turn in The Big Lebowski, playing The Dude, one of cinema’s premier slackers, found schlepping around with a glass of the creamy spirit during the Coens’ romp.
Well the power of the film still holds true, as Kahula has now got Bridges to star in this advert, where he slowly stirs his drink at a bar and shares his love for the spirit through a previous adventure told via flashbacks, where he's chased by nefarious characters for an unknown package.
Sound familiar? That could well be because it mirrors the Stranger, sat at the bar of the bowling alley in The Big Lebowski imparting an equally mysterious yarn, or else the whole being chased by thugs element.
While Bridges is slightly too well dressed to be officially reprising his famous role, with no sequel on the horizon, this might be as close as we get to seeing him stir a White Russian for some time.
Speaking of which, somebody tell the Coens to hurry up.
AND HERE'S 50 THINGS YOU (PROBABLY) DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THE BIG LEBOWSKI
