If Hollywood disaster films have taught us anything, it's that Mother Nature can play the part of terrifying destroyer just as well as benevolent creator.
Following a group of high school students-turned-documentary makers, Into The Storm looks to be fuelled by that basic human fear of being rendered utterly powerless. The new trailer is heavy on both close-cut action of people hanging onto doors/walls/friends to prevent themselves being sucked into vast tornadoes, and wide-spanning mass destruction. One shudders to think of the clean up bill.
Directed by Steven Quale (Final Destination 5), we're expecting Into The Storm to be a knuckle-whitening CGI marvel. Don't bother with a brolly.
Into The Storm arrives in the UK on 22 August
