Illustrator Injects Iconic Symbols Into Famous People’s Names

There’s a lot to be said for a good signature. It’s a uniquely scribbled line which separates you from every other person in the world with your name.
This counts double for notable individuals, whose identity means it’s even less likely they’d get away with an indecipherable squiggle.
Which brings us to this striking collection of clever illustrations, depicting the ways in which famous people might have decided to add an even more personal touch to their respective signatures.
Why we can only imagine what Sir Arthur Conan Doyle would think of the special autograph created for his pipe-favouring sleuth Sherlock Holmes. Or indeed how J. M. Barrie would have reacted to the subtle brilliance of Peter Pan’s own handiwork.
