Although it's been rumoured for a while, it's now been confirmed that The Hour star Ben Whishaw will be taking on the iconic character of Q in the new Bond movie Skyfall.
We've also got our first look at Whishaw in the role straight from Comic-Con where it's just been unveiled. His take on the tech wiz will see him star alongside Daniel Craig, Judi Dench and Javier Bardem.
Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli commented, "It’s a real thrill to confirm the return of Q in Skyfall played by the enormously talented, Ben Whishaw. We are delighted to have this beloved character back in the series."
