As the discussion rages on about whether the proliferation of new, oddly-shaped buildings on London's skyline is a good thing, it's interesting to see what could have been there instead.
This fascinating infographic, created by roofing firm RubberBond, collects together a series of unbuilt designs, including some by the likes of Gaudi, Wright and Foster, which could have become iconic - had they actually been made.
