Fetch yourself a glass of water. You're going to be needing it, after all the gruff "I'm Batman" impersonating the following trailer is set to inspire.
The third and final chapter in Rocksteady Stuido's vastly popular Arkham series (they didn't have a hand in the forgetable Arkham Origins), Arkham Knight makes a bold, spoiler-inducing claim. It's going to kill off Batman.
Following the demise of the Joker, a multitude of villains are trying to fill the void left by Batman's greatest criminal opponent: Scarecrow, Penguin, Two-Face and the Riddler are all up to their usual antics, while a new, armoured menace has rolled into town with an army and the cryptic title of the Arkham Knight.
Expect lots of slow motion beat-downs, heaps of cruising through Gotham in the Batmobile and hours of game play in a new world that's roughly five times the size of Arkham City.
Go on, you know you want to say it. "I'm Batman..."
Batman: Arkham Knight is out on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC from 23 June
