Brilliant Star Wars classic album mashups

If you designed a Venn diagram for 'people who like Star Wars' and 'people who like pop culture mashups', it would pretty much encompass all of humanity. Even if you don't like one, you like the other.

And so, with this in mind, cast your gaze toward these joyous Star Wars-meets-classic album mashups from the excellent mind of digital artist Steve Lear, which will provide joy for humanity long after we shuffle off this mortal coil.

Marvel at the detail in C3PO's anatomy:

Lear has even worked out the correct refraction of light through the Death Star:

There are mashups that seem to lend themselves perfectly...

...And the ones which require divine inspiration.

We've been scratching our heads and frantically Googling to see if The Prodigy's original album art was actually inspired by Han Solo in carbonite. It must have been. Surely. It's too perfect.

Definitely check out more of Steven's work here and here.
