Benedict Cumberbatch is at this point possibly almost too charming. Honestly, he can't seem to exist for a minute without being winningly self-deprecating or unabashedly silly. And that's when he's not being excellent in movies. It would be infuriating if he weren't so blooming likeable.
The latest instance of Cumberbatch being just delightful occurred during promotion for his new film The Imitation Game. Because video journalists sometimes like to play games with their interviewee rather just asking them "what drew you to this part?" for the millionth time, someone from MTV asked Cumberbatch to do as many impressions as he could in 60 seconds. Because the IMITATION GAME, you see. Clever.
The impressions include Matthew McConaughey, Christopher Walken, Tom Hiddleston (this basically consists of saying, "Yah") and Alan Rickman, And actually, they're mostly pretty good. Except for Sean Connery who sounds unaccountably a little Welsh.
