Back to the Future Monopoly Set Revealed in Detail

OK, OK, it's going to have to be a fight to the death to see who gets the DeLorean token.

Full details of the hotly-anticipated Back to the Future Monopoly set have been released, and it looks like a true thing of beauty.

The set, which will be released in September by USAopology, features a bright yellow 'radioactive' box, cool 'digital font' money and some great playing tokens: the aforementioned DeLorean, a hoverboard, Doc Brown's dog Einstein, Marty's hat, the clock from the Hill Valley clocktower and Marty's famous Nike Air Mags.

Meanwhile, on the board, Fleet Street becomes The McFly Residence; Regent Street, Oxford Street and Bond Street have been replaced by Doc's Blacksmith Shop, Mansion and Lab respectively; while Mayfair and Park Lane have become the 1955 and 1885 Clock Towers. The four stations become four modes of transport: Biff's Car, a skateboard, a hoverboard and the time train. Chance and Community Chest have been replaced by 'past' and 'future' cards. It's not yet known whether houses and hotels will remain - we'll find out in due course.

Whatever happens, the same arguments will prevail: if you don't fall out over the token choice, you will when someone lands on your heavily-fortified Green 'Doc Trio' and cleans you out. To ensure that doesn't happen, make sure you read our 17 tips to become a monopoly master.
