All The POV Shots In Better Call Saul

Streamed the entirety of Better Call Saul while wearing nothing but your boxer shorts yet? You haven’t lived.

Positively loaded with clever nods to Breaking Bad, the same deft touches of craftsmanship that once helped Vince Gilligan elevate a mere TV show into a cultural phenomenon remain. Saul too could be masterpiece in the making.

One of the most oft-used impacts shots - for both shows - is the point-of-view angle, deployed with aplomb in the latest series. Ranging from Chuck’s mailbox, the top of the billboard ladder (still frightening), and those train tracks weaving around the dirt strewn landscapes of New Mexico, Gilligan forcefully brings us into Saul's world headfirst.

And thanks to Spanish video editor Jaume R. Lloret, who’s handily compiled a visual list of all the times this visual tactic was deployed, we can now appreciate those POV shots once again.

If you're yet to discover Breaking Bad, you might as well put your plasma TV in the attic. That’s right, on top of your old Minidisc player. It's wasted on you.
