A Supercut of Darren Aronofsky Stares

As his last film, Noah, showed, director Darren Aronofsky is not afraid of the dramatic and the epic.

Never one to shy away from a lingering shot to capture some inner torment, his greatest 'stare' moments have been collated by Vimeo editor WarmBakedBread, in this brilliant supercut, entitled Pupil.

It features eye-popping moments from all six of the movies that Aronofsky has directed, from 1998's Pi, through to the aforementioned Noah, released last year.

Watch below: it's starey, starey good indeed.

As Content Director of Shortlist, Marc likes nothing more than to compile endless lists of an evening by candlelight. He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
