Anyone who's ever owned a dog or even walked one as a favour will know that keeping one on a lead can be a thankless task.
The pure, giddy excitement of the outside world and the allure of other dogs can be a dangerous combination and the walk can result in a feeling of worthlessness and a crushing lack of control.

Russian designer Art Lebedev developed the cannily titled Povodokus which works like your regular dog lead but has a gun attached to the end. We'd like to stress that it doesn't work like a gun though. We don't condone violence against dogs. Even ones that keep us up all night with their stupid barking.
We'd love to give this one a try at our local park and attempt to photograph as many bemused reactions as possible. We just need the lead now. And a dog.
