Fixed gears or no fixed gears, bikes would be useless in space. All that peddling for nothing. And you’d probably be dead within seconds anyway.
Which duly leads us to believe that designer Chen Hsin Lin has been rather lapse when it comes to the logistics and marketing of this otherwise smashing concept.
But then it's moniker could well be a hint at the bike's light proportions. After all, with some drooping curves meant to signify liquid metal, and ultra-streamline frame bending back across the bike to space saving effect, leaving you almost hovering in the seat, it might be one of the lightest rides you ever enjoy - should be given an official release.
Until then, we look forward to hearing about those plans for a cycle lane on the ISS.
