These politicians as Mr Men cartoons are almost too accurate

We’re desperately looking for something – anything – to liven up this forthcoming general election, which looks like being a cakewalk for Theresa May, despite the best efforts of the Labour party to inject a little drama into proceedings, with the leak of their manifesto last week.

And thankfully we have surrealist comedian, kids’ book writer and illustrator Olaf Falafel around to brighten things up.

He’s created these brilliant Mr Men depictions of the four party leaders which pretty much perfectly sum up the current consensus on their personalities.

“I’ve been reading up on the General Election candidates,” he wrote on Twitter, and here are his findings.
