Jimmy Fallon Brilliantly Parodies Lionel Richie's Hello Video

fallon1.jpg

With his Glastonbury performance earlier this year, Lionel Richie confirmed what many of us already knew: that when it comes to charisma, and massive, massive hits, there are few that come close to the great man.

Since then, there has rightly been an outpouring of love for the singer, culminating in his recent announcement that he is to take up a residency in Las Vegas, beginning in April 2016. We'll be on the first plane out.

In the meantime, Jimmy Fallon confirmed his place as king of the TV setpiece with this incredible version of Lionel's legendary video for Hello. The best bit is when he realises the utter ridiculousness of what he's doing and struggles to hold it together. You can compare and contrast with the original version below that.
