Cheer yourself up with this Eighties movies dancing supercut

We've done some testing, and if this supercut of dances in more than 50 classic Eighties films, soundtracked by the all-time party anthem Dancing On The Ceiling by Lionel Richie, doesn't put a smile on your face, then you're definitely dead inside.

Terrifyingly, the parent album of the same name has just celebrated its 30th birthday, so video editor Robert Jones decided to put a brilliant compilation together, the sixth in his Movie Dance tribute series (you can see the previous five in the playlist below).

To start yourself off though, get yourself Footloose, indulge in some Dirty Dancing, go Back To The Future, be showered by Purple Rain and a whole lot more in the new clip above.
