You can watch the whole of Oasis' 1994 Glastonbury performance online

It's a rare glimpse into a band teetering on the verge of greatness.

Oasis were still two months away from releasing their debut album Definitely Maybe when they rocked up at Worthy Farm on Saturday 26 June to deliver their very first set at Glastonbury, playing the NME stage in the afternoon, halfway down the bill.

Just a year later, they would headline the Pyramid Stage, a few months ahead of releasing (What's The Story) Morning Glory? - the album that would send Britpop nuclear.

Now you can watch this pivotal performance, thanks to zcz Films, who have uploaded the full footage of the concert to their YouTube page.

1994 was the first year that Glastonbury was broadcast on Channel 4; they covered it for two years before the BBC took over in 1997 (the festival took a year off in 1996) - their first coverage including Radiohead's legendary OK Computer-era performance.

It's a brilliant watch, with the simple, raw power of the original five-piece line-up, including the rock solid rhythm section of Tony McCarroll, Paul 'Guigsy' McGuigan and Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, and a clutch of tracks and B-sides from the Definitely Maybe era. In particular, the glorious, confident vocals of a young Liam are quite something to behold.
