Movies are essentially a series of moments. While some might be arbitrary, others can have a profound effect on you.
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Universal, 1,000 UK fans were asked to name their most memorable moment from the studio's impressive back-catalogue.
The iconic E.T. bike ride was in the lead with 19.5% of the votes while Roy Scheider delivering the line 'You're gonna need a bigger boat' in Jaws was in second place with 10.9%.
Respondents were also asked to name their favourite Universal characters and Back to the Future's Marty McFly came out on top with 9.3% of the votes while Matt Damon as Jason Bourne came in second with 6.7%.
