Tom Hiddleston presented the weather in Chicago, blamed Thor for storms

Great Odin’s Raven.

When Chicago news station Fox 32 needed someone to warn viewers about a terrifying storm headed their way, there was only one weatherman for the job: Loki.

Dropping into the studio as part of a whirlwind US press tour for Hank Williams biopic I Saw the Light, the mercurially talented Tom Hiddleston reprised his role as the beloved Marvel villain to bring the Windy City some rather windy news – and it was a breeze.

All ad-libbed (we think) the Avengers references come thick and fast as he lays the blame for the forthcoming flood and downpours solely on Thor, his 'brother from another mother', even name-checking fellow actor Chris Hemsworth for his wanton use of a giant hammer.

Someone might want to let Hemsworth know. We expect a few pop culture illiterate Chicago natives will be writing to him when their cable reception goes out.
